Performances in the Teen Small Groups follow.

Hague to "End of Love."  Ms. Rachel is the choreographer and instructor for this trio.  The dancers were awarded a DOUBLE PLATINUM, first in category and first OVERALL.

Competing lyrical to "I Have Nothing" and being awarded PLATINUM award, First in Category, Best Costume for12 and up groups, and the TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE Award for the entire competition.  Ms. Rachel is the choreographer and instructor for this group and it should be mentioned that these dancers and all of our senior dancers have taken technique classes from our instructor Kristof Waltermire for the past several years, and to receive this Technical Excellence Award just tops the cake  These performers were Mae Armstrong, Lindsay Hague, Tori Kiser and Myla McGhee.

Rai Bullock, Lauryn Hague and Keanna Phelps performed their jazz dance to "I'm a Lady" and received a PLATIMUM award plus a New York All-Star Invitation.  Ms. Lois is choreographer and instructor for this trio.  This is Rai's first year in dance company and second year with us for Lauryn and Keanna.

The dancers formed a group hug of encouragement for their performance.  The best thing about JDC and Jax Gym are the friendships formed and retained - and the pride the rest of us have in these dancers and gymnasts.  It makes us so happy when they receive these awards because we know how hard they have worked to achieve them - and we're equally proud of our instructors and coaches (not that I haven't said that a hundred times!!!)

Lauryn Hague performed her jazz routine, which was choreographed and taught by Ms. Lois, to "Confident."  Lauryn was awarded a PLATINUM, and received a New York ALL-Star  Invitation and was 8th overall out of 27 soloists.
