Huff 'n Puff Programs Participate in Jacksonville 2016 Festiville - Great Day for All

The Jacksonville Fall Festiville was held this Friday afternoon and all day Saturday and it appeared to be a huge success.  The weather was absolutely beautiful and actually felt like fall - the carnival was big and noisy - the kids enjoyed the face painting and free fun - and Huff 'n Puff kids did a great job of showing off their talents and skills - and a great time was had by all.

Performing in the program Saturday morning were the Jacksonville Dance Company dancers, preschool gymnasts, Ninja Zone students, lower level Jax team gymnasts and Jax Xcel team gymnasts.  Ending the hour-long program were the  higher level competing Jax gym team gymnasts and Xcel gymnasts.  The program was a huge success and a wonderful opportunity for parents to see the progress of their children.

The weather could not have been more grand - 72 degrees and sunny and bright and for those of us under the canopy, nice and cool.  Some of the Jacksonville Dance Company dancers kicked off the Huff 'n Puff programs with several lively dances and solo performances.  Performing in the day's activites, under the wonderful direction of Lois Bryan, were Mae Armstrong, Michaela Boles, Chandler Dean, Trinity Dickerson, Jaimee Hall, Candra Hodges, Myla McGhee and Tiara Trotter.  The dancers performed dances that they had successfully performed in the Masquerade National Competition in Ft Walton Beach, Florida, the end of June.

Preschoolers Performance

It's amazing to see how much these little ones can do in such a short time at Huff 'n Puff - under the instruction of such great and caring coaches --Wendi, Melanie and Julia with the assistance of Krista, Mae and Hannah.

Ninja Zone Students

We appreciate the parents bringing these Ninja Zone boys sort of at the last minute.  Our Ninja Zone classes are rapidly becoming our fastest growing classes for boys - they just love the classes under the instruction of Trainers Krista, Chase and Julia.  The classes are for boys, ages three to five; six to eight; and then nine to eleven.  We also have thePar-Kour classes for older boys - those classses are called Ninja Warrior classes.

Hopefully this little girl is destined to be a dancer at Huff 'n Puff.  She nearly stole the show with the dancers and the gymnasts - and could not have been cuter.

Mae Armstrong performed her lyrical dance to "Hero."  The dancers performed their dancers for the first time on concrete - not an easy task, but they all did great.

Myla McGhee performed her jazz dance to "Queen Bee"

Most of these pictures are action shots and my camera is not intended for action  - so they will be a bit blurry - but we can get the idea anyway.  JDC dancers are shown here in the first of their lively performances - you looked really good dancers.
