Nine - Twelve Year-Old Large Group - Competitive Level (Ages are averaged)

They deserve to be smiling - they had been chosen for Parade of Champions, were awarded a Double Diamond and won Fifth Overall for this fantastic Musical Theater performance.  Ms. Lois you outdid yourself on this one!  Performing in this dance were Mae Armstrong, Trent Armstrong, Rai Bullock, Jaidyn Clifton, Chandler Dean, Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Lauryn Hague, Lindsay Hague, Tori Kiser, Landree Malloy, Myla McGhee, Kylie McNutt, Lily Overholser, Kaylee Pelkey  and Keanna Phelps. (and the itty bitty puppy dog in the basket!

Nine to Twelve Small Groups - Novice Level

Competing Jazz to "Fabulous" were Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser, Lily Over-holser and Kaylee Pelkey.  This jazz performance, taught by Ms. Rachel, was awarded a Double Diamond, was a Parade of Champions Finalist and placed Fourth Overall.

Competing HipHop to "B.I.N.G.O." were Mira Fischer, Landree Malloy, Leah Miller and Caia Sharp.  The dancers, taught by Ms. Lois, were awarded a Diamond were the hiphop category winners and placed 9th overall.

Competing HipHop to "Shake" were Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser, Lily Overholser and Kaylee Pelkey.  The performers, taught by Ms. Lois, were awarded a Double Diamond, were the Hiphop Category Winners, and placed Ninth overall.

Competing Lyrical to "You'll Be in My Heart" were Mira Fischer, Landree Malloy, Leah Miller and Caia Sharp.  The performers, taught by Ms. Rachel, were awarded a Double Diamond, were the Lyrical Category Winners for their age division and placed Third overall.

Competing Lyrical to "I Look to You" were Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser, Lily Overholser and Kaylee Pelkey.  The performers, taught by Ms. Rachel, were awarded a Double Diamond, were the Lyrical Category winners and placed Sixth overall.

Competing Tap to "Five Guys Named Moe" were Aubrey Hague, Landree Malloy, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser and Lily Overholser.  The performers, taught by Ms. Lois, were awarded a Diamond.

Just looking at the bright and shining faces of these beautiful performers makes me want to "Jump for Joy" to think that  over 40 years has brought us to this point - could not be more proud -of all of our performers, our gymnasts and our staff.  This makes it worth every struggle that it has been!  Thank you, Laurel, Lois, Rachel and Kristof and all our fabulous parents who have supported us , not just now but over the years.  And to our older dancers, who have been with us for such a long time, I'm so proud of you and your accomplishments.

Competing Jazz  to "September" were Trent Armstrong,

Jaidyn Clifton, Kylie McNutt and Rauelle Williams.  They were awarded a Diamond and placed Fourth overall.  They were taught by Ms. Rachel.

Competing HipHop to "Tik Tok" were Mae Armstrong, Trent Armstrong, Jaidyn Clifton, Landree Malloy, Kylie McNutt and Raquelle Williams. They were awarded a Diamond and placed Fifth in overall.  They were taught by Ms. Lois.

Saturday - Eight and Younger Small Competitive Groups

Mae Armstrong, Lauryn Hague and Lindsay Hague competed their trio lyrical performance to "Standing with You" and were awarded a Double Diamond, were the Lyrical Category Winner and placed 5th overall.  This is the second year that these dancers have performed a lyrical trio together.  This performance was taught by Ms. Rachel.

Shown here are the eight-and under novice and competitive duet winners - Great job, young ladies!

Tori Kiser and Lilly Overholser competed their contemporary duet performance in the competitive division to "Feel My Love" and were awarded a Double Diamond and placed Tenth overall.  This is the second year for these two to perform, showing their sisterly love for each other.  This performance was choreograhed by Casia Basia and taught by Ms. Lois.

 Age Thirteen - Fourteen Duet/Trios

Lianna Overholser and Kaylee Pelkey competed their lyrical performance to "Footprints in the Sand, for which they received a Double Diamond, were selected as Parade Finalists and placed Fifth Overall.  Now, you probably can't tell by this photo on the right (which I purposely chose) but Kayley placed Second Photogenic and Lianna placed Fifth Photogenic.  Ms. Lois was the instructor for this duet.

Adaline Trent and Zuhrina Williams performed their Jazz dance to "Get Your Sparkle On" and received a Diamond.  They are taught by Ms. Lois

Mira Fischer and Caia Sharp performed their Jazz dance to "I'm Your Girl" and were awarded a Double Diamond and were Sixth overall.  This duet was taught by Ms. Rachel.

The Hague Sisters, Aubrey, Lauryn and Lindsay, combine their many talents to perform this dance in the open category to "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" for which they were awarded a Double

Diamond.  The performance was taught by Ms. Lois.   Also a note, each of the Hague Sisters received First Photogenic Award for their age category.  JDC (and Jax Gym) were so fortunate that when the Hague family moved back to Arkansas that they came to us at Huff 'n Puff.

Day Four - Saturday - Duet/Trios - Eight and Younger - Competitive Level

Competing lyrical trio in the nine to twelve year division to "The Voice Within" were Jaidyn Clifton, Kylie McNutt and Raquelle Williams.  The performers received a Diamond and a Judges Choice Award of "Beauty and Grace."

Day Three - Age 15-16 Competitive Division 

Lindsay Hague competed her Contemporary Solo to "Champion" and was awarded a Diamond.  Ms. Rachel was her instructor for this perforance.  Lindsay also received First Place Photogenic Champion.  Right, Lindsay is shown in costume to her self-choreographed lyrical performance (in student choreography category) to "Anyone" for which she received a Diamond.

Tori Kiser competed her Contemporary performance to "At Last" and was awarded a Double Diamond.  Tori was awarded Fourth Place Top Entertainer and also received Second Place Photogenic.  Her performance to "At Last" made me smile throughout her performance because her expressions were priceless.  This number was choreographed by Casia Basia and taught by Ms. Lois.  At right is Tori's photo after her performance to "Best Shot" in the open category, also choreographed by Casia Basia and taught by Ms. Lois.  Tori was awarded a Diamond for her performance.

Third Day also - early evening - Nine - Twelve year old Duet/Trios

Mae Armstrong competed her lyrical performance to "Ashes" and was awarded a Double Diamond.  Her performance was taught by Ms. Lois.

Chandler Dean competed her

jazz routine to "Emotions" which was taught by Ms. Rachel.  Chandler was awarded a Diamond.

Competing Day Three - solos ages 17 to 19

Myla McGhee competed her Contemporary solo to "Freedom" which was taught by Ms. Rachel, and was awarded a Diamond.

Chandler Dean competed her Contemporary performance to "Standup".  Chandler was awarded a Diamond - this performance was taught by Ms. Rachel.

Mae Armstrong competed her jazz performance to "Fever" and was awarded a Diamond.  This performance was taught by Ms. Lois
